Torrent Downloading

In this guide we will show you how to download torrents from the internet. There are many different programs you can download which enable you to download a torrent. We have chosen a small program which can run without affaecting your computers performance.

Step 1	First, you will need to download uTorrent. You can get this from many websites, but it is always best to download it from the manufacurer. uTorrent On this page you will see their latest version of uTorrent for you to download. Click the button to download the file. Once this download is complete, run the installation. Click Next through the intstallation and accept the agreement. Then you will reach a screen which will require you to select extra components such as desktop shortcuts, start menu items and quick launch icons. Tick which apply and click next. Next you will get another window which asks you to configure uTorrent. The default settings will work just fine. I usually untick the box so the program doesn't start with windows. After you've selected, click next. Depending on your operating system, you will be asked to allow the file to install. For this, click Yes or OK. uTorrent will then install.
Step 2	Now uTorrent has installed, you will need to open the application. If this is the first time youve run this application, you will be asked to input your internet speed. This will optimise uTorrent so you will receive a better download speed. Once selected, click 'use selected settings'.
Step 3	Now your torrent software is installed, you can begin looking for your files. For this, we recommend ISOHunt. Open ISOHunt in an internet browser. Once loaded you will notice a search bar at the top of the website. This is where you can search any torrent by filename. Enter your search and press enter.
Step 4	Now you will get a list of torrents related to your search. The best way to download a genuine torrent is to select one which has comments and ratings (shown below). The torrent with a higher number of star ratings will more likely be the best torrent to get. Alternitavely, you can view the comments people have made. Once you've chosen your torrent, click on the filename. This will bring up another page which will give further information about the torrent. From here you can click Download torrent. This will set your torrent off in the uTorrent software and will download in no time!
Step 5	Your torrent will now identify your software and display a small window with a list of files. Here you can select the files you want to download. Your torrent will then begin downloading. Once completed, you can open the file from its saved destination and enjoy.
