Test Computer Memory (RAM)
This guide will show you how to test you computer memory, otherwise known as you RAM. This test will run through all memory and tell you if there is a problem.
| Step 1 |
Open up an internet browser and go to http://hcidesign.com/memtest/

| Step 2 | Open up the file (memtest.zip) and extract to your desktop. Then simply click on the program to open it.

| Step 3 | To start testing your memory simply click Start Testing. It will tell you the progress at the bottom of the box.

| Step 4 | This program will constantly test your memory in different ways and it wont actually give you a message that it is done. So leave it for about 30mins - 1hr. If no errors have been flagged by then, your memory should be fine. However the longer you leave it the better the test will be. |
