PeerBlock (Block IP Addresses)
This guide is going to show you how to install a program called PeerBlock. This program will block any Anti-P2P, Government, Spyware, Adware etc. Organizations from connecting to your computer and logging what you are doing. If you download torrents then PeerBlock is a MUST!
| Step 1 |
The first thing you need to do is go to the PeerBlock website. You can find it either by going to http://www.peerblock.com or by clicking HERE.

| Step 2 | Next you want to go to the Downloads section as seen below.

| Step 3 | Here scroll down untill you see the "Get it Here" text and click the PeerBlock Installer.

| Step 4 | When promted run the file to start the setup.

| Step 5 | The installation wizard will the pop up. Click next to continue.

| Step 6 | Make sure you click "I accept the agreement" on this page and click next to continue.

| Step 7 | This screen lets you choose where to install PeerBlock. If you don't know where to put it just leave it as the default.

| Step 8 | Additional tasks. Do you want an icon on the desktop? and do you want it to start when Windows starts. We prefer to select both.

| Step 9 | When the installation is complete you will get the option to launch PeerBlock. Click finish when ready.

| Step 10 | You must now configure PeerBlock. Click next to continue.
|
| Step 11 | Here you can selec which IP addresses you want to block. If you are unsure just tick all. You can later go back and add/remove them if needed.

| Step 12 | Select when you want to update. If unsire just leave as default and click next.
|
| Step 13 | You will see this screen when the wizard has completed. You are now ready to start using PeerBlock! Click finish to start.

| Step 14 | When you first start the program up, it wil update the IP block lists.
|
| Step 15 | Simply x the program and it will run in the background. An icon will always be in the notification area. (Its the blue icon)
