Setup Wireless Network




This guide will take you through the steps of setting up a wireless network in your home.

Step 1

The parts required to setup a wireless network are:
-Modem or wireless modem
-Wireless router
- 2 Ethernet cables
- Power leads

Connect your modem to the internet:

Then you will need to get one of the ethernet cables and put one end into the modem. The other end goes into the wireless router (WLAN port).

Connect the other ethernet cable into the back of the wireless router (LAN port). The other end of this cable plugs into the back of your computer.

Step 5 More than likely you will now need tp install some software that came with the wireless router or modem.
