Backup Windows XP
Backing up you data is one of the things people never do, but its so easy to do! This guide will show you how to backup your data using the windows built in backup feature.
| Step 1 | From windows XP go to the start menu and all programs, navigate to accessories, then system tools and select backup.

| Step 2 | Now a wizard will popup, its basically just a matter of following the guide through and selecting how and where you want to backup your data.

| Step 3 | Select whether you want to backup or restore your files.
|
| Step 4 | Specify the items you want to backup, in this case I'm going to choose what i want. the process is the pretty much the same which ever one you choose.

| Step 5 | Here i will select the file/files i want to backup.

| Step 6 | You must now choose where you want your backup to be saved. This could be an external floppy, a second hard drive etc..

| Step 7 | I have selected to save my data to a folder called backup1. When ready click save to continue.

| Step 8 | Now your ready to backup all your data. Click finish to begin. (NOTE: If you want to schedule a time for windows to automatically backup your data then on step 8 select advanced. There you will be able to set a data and time).

| Step 9 | You will then see this window. Once this window is finished your data is backed up!
